Christina Closs originally hails
from southern New Hampshire, where she discovered her love
of acting and performed with a number of community
theatres. Christina went on to receive her BFA in
Acting from the Hartt School, at the University of
Hartford, in Connecticut. After graduation, Christina
completed a summer season each with The Peterborough
Players in Peterborough, NH and The Lost Colony in Manteo,
NC. Her professional career also includes two national
touring seasons with National Theatre for Arts and
Education; two years as a core company member with Gamut
Classic Theatre in Harrisburg, PA; and four national
touring seasons with National Theatre for Children.
Christina has also contributed her vocal talents to
commercials in both PA and MA. Over the last several years,
Christina has focused her acting in the Boston area. She
has worked on both student and independent films (one of
which had its red carpet premiere right before the start
of the pandemic) as well as completing extra work on six
major motion pictures. Christina has also continued her
theatre performances with companies such as The Company
Theatre, Soap & Roap Theatre, The Rogers Center for
the Arts, and Ragnarok Productions (which took its
adaptation of The Odyssey to the Edinburgh Fringe
Festival). Most recently, Christina has
relocated to Central Florida and is excited to be joining
Central Florida Community Arts as an Assistant Stage
Manager and Teaching Artist. Christina is looking forward
to discovering all that the Central Florida arts community
has to offer. |
